Bulgaria authorities fine and ban four fans over racist abuse of England players

Four Bulgaria fans arrested for subjecting England gamers to racist abuse have been fined 1,000 Bulgarian lev (#443) and prohibited from sport events for a couple of decades.
The 6-0 Euro 2020 qualifier win in Sofia on Monday of england was stopped in the first half after racist chanting by home fans.
The four fans were punished with police – as opposed to the countrys courts – under Bulgarias law for thesecurity of public order during sports events.
Another fan was detained on Wednesday, bringing the whole number detained .
One of the seven is a minor, the Bulgaria Ministry of Interior told BBC Sport.
Borislav Mikhailov, president of the football association of Bulgaria, resigned Tuesday.
Bulgaria manager Krasimir Balakov said after the game hedidnt hear any chanting, having formerly accused England of owning a bigger racism issue.
However, Balakov later posted a statement on Facebook, admitting the episodes on Monday along with apologising toEnglish footballers and to those who felt offended.
I condemn all forms of racism within an unacceptable behaviour that contradicts normal human relations, he further added.
Bulgarian legend Hristo Stoichkov became emotional when he had been asked on tv how to avoid a similar incident. He recommended thatfans are not allowed in the stadium or even [confront ] heavier punishments.
