Brewers vs. Cardinals MLB Pick – August 19th

The Milwaukee Brewers will Visit St. Louis Following a couple of Crazy days in Washington from the Nationals.

Saturday night was a excellent wild, but Sunday was a loony bad day for the Brewer pitching yesterday day. The Brewers outlasted the Nats in 14 innings to get a 15-14 win in an enjoyable game for the fans. It was not an enjoyable game at all for the bullpens.
The Brewers’ bullpen took the affair . Their weary pitching staff got hammered yesterday day also, allowing 16 runs in a 16-8 loss. Milwaukee additional 4 9th inning works to soften the blow to generate the score a little more respectable.
Chase Anderson got off to a dreadful start Sunday to set the wheels in motion to get a tough day on the bump. Anderson allowed 10 earned runs in just 2.1 innings and then Aaron Wilkerson was tagged for five earned runs in 4.1 innings. The crime was not going to be up that, so it was an early reduction for the Brewers in that one.
The Brewers are at the middle of a tight NL Central along with wildcard race in the National League. They have a good chance of winning one of the two or nothing in any respect. This is a Very Important series for the Brewers and Cardinals.
Between the Brewers, Cubs, and Cardinals that there are only two games separating everybody in the NL Central. The Reds and Pirates have been outside, but everybody else is still in play in the division. With a solid series across the Cardinals and the Cubs slipping up this week, the Brewers could be atop the NL Central by the end of the week. A little easier said than done, however.
Zach Davies, that was the best pitcher in the Brewers’ rotation, will seem to respond after struggling mightily recently. The Cardinals are expected to offset with Dakota Hudson. Head under for our complimentary Brewers vs. Cardinals select.

Zach Davies is a major option for the Brewers within their rotation this year. While nearly all the turning was struggling, Davies was that the 1 outlier who had been delivering to the bulge. It was quite striking and Davies was on pace to break his previous career-high ERA of 3.90 place in 2017. I will dismiss the 3.71 ERA he published at six starts as a beginner as it was not a full year for him.
Davies is clearly on pace to conquer an ERA of 3.90, but he’s making it difficult on himself down the stretch. Davies moves with the ERA of 3.74 and 1.39 WHIP, but his current excursions are placing a career-high in doubt now. He also posted a 11.77 ERA, 2.00 WHIP, and .400 OBA within his previous three starts, allowing 18 runs in 13 innings of work.
Davies also has not done well from the Cardinals in his profession. The Cards are hitting .300 with 21 runs scores over Davies at 130 at-bats. In his final trip to St. Louis, Davies was good however, the Cardinals were much better using a 4-3 victory. Together with Davies struggling lately, their bullpen is most likely going to be exhausted after the past two times in Washington.
Dakota Hudson has been coming from a standout performance against the Royals in Kansas City. He gasped that the KC lineup for no more runs over six innings of work. The bats took care of the rest, since the Cards appreciated a 6-0 triumph. Hudson has allowed over 3 runs in only 2 out of 25 appearances. With just one game with over 3 runs, Hudson has been the model of consistency, since April 21st. Anticipate the Cardinals to open a large series against an inter-divisional rival with a win in Busch Stadium on Monday night.
